MONTANA

Well, what's a summer without a trip to Montana? Nothing of course. We headed over to see Grandma Fern who is crazier than ever. Played at the lake, roasted marshmellows, ate at the Snakepit and even Andrew got bucked off a horse. The trip was so much fun and I can't wait to get over there again.

Here are just a few pictures of the adventure:

Gold panning with Billy Muller. Andrew thought this guy was so awesome, he said that he was the biggest red-neck he had ever met.

Getting ready to hit the lake

At the amish store.

Andrew was going nuts buying everything he could get his hands on.

Cute chair made by the Amish just Alyssa's size

The Hiawatha Bike Trail

This was the start of a tunnel that is 1.66 miles long! It took us at least 5 minutes to get through it. It was pitch black and it got really cold inside. You had to dodge a few waterfalls and not fall off the sides into little ditches of water. It was really neat. The echo was amazing, made Andrew and I sound like fabulous singers.

Fianlly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Took for ever to be able to see the other side.

Wilbur's Work Party

For the annual work party the Steam Plant treated every one to a Rainiers Game with unlimited amounts of food. Was wicked good and well deserved and needed. I missed the water slide at the lake but I have to say the game was still a blast. Randy and Mike even got baseballs and Shannon got a T-shirt. We rocked the house.

Meet Rudolph...I think that's his name.

Little cutie pies. They were fun to sit by.
