Time is on my side today!

You know all that time I was talking about, this is another littel project I did.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Chritmas tree

Tank got to tag along this year and he was going crazy! I think he need to get out more. But it was so much fun and we got this beast of a tree for only ten bucks!! Rock on! Had the guy cut it down, get stuck in the mud with his lawn mover/trailer, and load it up all for ten bucks. No better deal than that.

A bit crafty

So I've had a lot of time on my hands since school finished for Christmas break and it has been awesome!! I have been able to clean my house, get laundry done and even make a meal or two. But my most favorite thing that I have done so far is this....

Focus on the table now. This is before:

And WAAA BAMMM!! BOOM BABY it's magnifico!!
Yep all by myself. It's pretty amazing if you ask me. And it saved us several hundred instead of buying  a new one, even though I still want one in the store. But this will do for the next couple of years.

Super Saturday Projects

I must say I am very pround of myself for my accomplishments in the art department. I tend to struggle but with the help of my mother who coordinated the colors, my projects turned out fabulous! Take a look for yourself....

I also made a cat and a snowman but they are not quite finished yet.....you might see them sometime in the near future. I have to get through finals first.

Call Me Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I went to the eye doctor for the first time in my life a few days ago and found out I need glasses...LAME!! But I guess I'll fit in right with the rest of my sisters. But the scary part was they dilated my eyes and I couldn't see a darn thing! I don't reccommend driving afterwards, trust me. And then Andrew called me a freaky vampire and wouldn't come near me, what a sissy. Or it would appear I have a serious brain injury which might explain a few things....take your pick.

Failed to Mention

This is the little guy we got about 4 months ago! He is awesome and I like him a lot. Andrew really wanted a dog and he came at the right price...FREE! He is a pure black lab.

His first little bath. He fit perfectly in the sink, and now he has to fit in the shower!! Andrew loves having him so much.

He likes to lick me and it is gross but what do you do.

I have to admit, he is really cool. He is my little buddy. He follows me every where and every time I walk out side he is looking at me from his igloo! He is just an awesome dog, so awesome that we named him TANK!!!!!

MONTANA

Well, what's a summer without a trip to Montana? Nothing of course. We headed over to see Grandma Fern who is crazier than ever. Played at the lake, roasted marshmellows, ate at the Snakepit and even Andrew got bucked off a horse. The trip was so much fun and I can't wait to get over there again.

Here are just a few pictures of the adventure:

Gold panning with Billy Muller. Andrew thought this guy was so awesome, he said that he was the biggest red-neck he had ever met.

Getting ready to hit the lake

At the amish store.

Andrew was going nuts buying everything he could get his hands on.

Cute chair made by the Amish just Alyssa's size

The Hiawatha Bike Trail

This was the start of a tunnel that is 1.66 miles long! It took us at least 5 minutes to get through it. It was pitch black and it got really cold inside. You had to dodge a few waterfalls and not fall off the sides into little ditches of water. It was really neat. The echo was amazing, made Andrew and I sound like fabulous singers.

Fianlly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Took for ever to be able to see the other side.

Wilbur's Work Party

For the annual work party the Steam Plant treated every one to a Rainiers Game with unlimited amounts of food. Was wicked good and well deserved and needed. I missed the water slide at the lake but I have to say the game was still a blast. Randy and Mike even got baseballs and Shannon got a T-shirt. We rocked the house.

The discovery of Randy's awesome rat tail
Meet Rudolph...I think that's his name.

Little cutie pies. They were fun to sit by.

The NG Tube

Sometimes at school, we are required to perform procedures on each other to really understand what our patients go through. Well, the latest and greatest was shoving a nasograstric tube up our nose and down into our stomach! Let me tell you it was horrible.....
I gagged the whole time,

It burned so bad.

I could not stop my eyes from watering like crazy.

No matter how much water I drank it still burned.

I wanted to punch my "nurse" the entire time.

It took forever.

It didn't go down the first time,

so they did it twice.

And on top of it all, my instructor made me smile for a PICTURE! I am giving it all I got to smile.

If you ever have to go through this, I suggest you opt out! Trust me.

Nice Try Boog...

Andrew had a great idea to cut his own hair and I didn't want him to so I told him to do it himself and this is how it turned out.

PARTY in PORTLAND

Well, it's been the official mark of two years for Andrew and I so we decided to celebrate! We went to Portland and stayed the night there for a couple nights and had a complete blast. We were able to park our car at the hotel we stayed at and took the light rail every where we went, and every thing else was with in walking distance. We did many things but here are a few pictures from some of our events.

First oft, ice skating

And then the zoo.And the true surprise.....The TRAILBLAZERS!!Still don't know why they call it Rip City....only Ben would know that answer.
Andrew loved the flying car that would drop money and gift certificates on people. The game was a complete blow out. So many dunks and slams it was AWESOME and, we even got free calumpas from Taco Bell because they scored over 100 points.

Can't wait to go again next year!!!!
