Our Hobby

This is a little hobby Andrew and I have picked up lately and I love it!

Andrew was teaching me how to speed reload so I make sure I definately annihilate my target. It was a lot of fun and was fun blasting some rounds fast.

And of course, can't forget the dogs.....
Tank the black mumba and Lady, the white wizard.

Anybody want to come shoot, give me a call! We love to do this ANYTIME!

Andrew's a Deputy!!

Andrew has worked very hard the last five months to complete the reserve academy. But he has finally finished and is offically sworn in on June 28th. He was tased, sprayed with OC, completed high speed chases (which he totally NAILED!), and got to shoot guns which he has been issued and so much more class room work and other things.
Overall, watch out Lewis County for this guy!

Good ole OC spray, aka bear spray. The effects lasted for over 24 hours and he was dying...literally! Nothing you can do but wait it out.
A Grand entrance which caught me by surprise!

Ya, you can say he earned his STUD status

Little Storm in 3 more weeks

This is Storm. She is coming our way in a short three weeks and I CAN'T WAIT!! We got her cuz Tank loves ot run away to play with other dogs through out the city, yes I said city. Last week the little HOUDINI got away and was found several miles away from our house. So introducing his new play mate, Storm.

River Rafting

Andrew was able to take some time off work and before I start work we decided to PARTY!! We went to Maupin, Oregon to the famous Dechutes River where we had a blast running the river. Here are some action shots.....

This next scene was my favorite part of the whole trip, enjoy!

This was the only time we flipped and I loved it.
I say next reunion should be here! All agree?

Redneck Family Night

Viewer advisement.......this may make you throw up!! Not even joking! Nasty pictures below.

What do you do for you family night?
So Andrew and I were driving home and we saw some road kill. And we are trying to train our dog to be a hunting dog so we ran to the house, Andrew got the shovel, I got a hammer and gloves and we went to get this fresh kill. Well, upon examinging the racoon, it hisssssssssssstttt at Andrew!! Oh my! I thought he was going to get rabbies. But it had blood coming out his nose and was suffering, so we manned-up and took him to our house and set him on the porch for further assessment. After concluding he would not survive, Andrew blasted him with the 20 guage. It freaked me out a bit because he was jerking all over the place and started flopping and crawling toward me! Scary right...ya. But the story continues....

Here's the little rascle before.

Well,  what do you do with a dead raccoon? SKIN IT!! We quickly watched a few youtube videos on the procedure and got down to business.

Now we have a seet trophy to hang on the wall. Just kidding, but maybe I'll make it into a hat. And for your information, I did a lot of cutting/skinning to, not just Andrew.

Time is on my side today!

You know all that time I was talking about, this is another littel project I did.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Chritmas tree

Tank got to tag along this year and he was going crazy! I think he need to get out more. But it was so much fun and we got this beast of a tree for only ten bucks!! Rock on! Had the guy cut it down, get stuck in the mud with his lawn mover/trailer, and load it up all for ten bucks. No better deal than that.

A bit crafty

So I've had a lot of time on my hands since school finished for Christmas break and it has been awesome!! I have been able to clean my house, get laundry done and even make a meal or two. But my most favorite thing that I have done so far is this....

Focus on the table now. This is before:

And WAAA BAMMM!! BOOM BABY it's magnifico!!
Yep all by myself. It's pretty amazing if you ask me. And it saved us several hundred instead of buying  a new one, even though I still want one in the store. But this will do for the next couple of years.

Super Saturday Projects

I must say I am very pround of myself for my accomplishments in the art department. I tend to struggle but with the help of my mother who coordinated the colors, my projects turned out fabulous! Take a look for yourself....

I also made a cat and a snowman but they are not quite finished yet.....you might see them sometime in the near future. I have to get through finals first.

Call Me Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I went to the eye doctor for the first time in my life a few days ago and found out I need glasses...LAME!! But I guess I'll fit in right with the rest of my sisters. But the scary part was they dilated my eyes and I couldn't see a darn thing! I don't reccommend driving afterwards, trust me. And then Andrew called me a freaky vampire and wouldn't come near me, what a sissy. Or it would appear I have a serious brain injury which might explain a few things....take your pick.

Failed to Mention

This is the little guy we got about 4 months ago! He is awesome and I like him a lot. Andrew really wanted a dog and he came at the right price...FREE! He is a pure black lab.

His first little bath. He fit perfectly in the sink, and now he has to fit in the shower!! Andrew loves having him so much.

He likes to lick me and it is gross but what do you do.

I have to admit, he is really cool. He is my little buddy. He follows me every where and every time I walk out side he is looking at me from his igloo! He is just an awesome dog, so awesome that we named him TANK!!!!!

MONTANA

Well, what's a summer without a trip to Montana? Nothing of course. We headed over to see Grandma Fern who is crazier than ever. Played at the lake, roasted marshmellows, ate at the Snakepit and even Andrew got bucked off a horse. The trip was so much fun and I can't wait to get over there again.

Here are just a few pictures of the adventure:

Gold panning with Billy Muller. Andrew thought this guy was so awesome, he said that he was the biggest red-neck he had ever met.

Getting ready to hit the lake

At the amish store.

Andrew was going nuts buying everything he could get his hands on.

Cute chair made by the Amish just Alyssa's size

The Hiawatha Bike Trail

This was the start of a tunnel that is 1.66 miles long! It took us at least 5 minutes to get through it. It was pitch black and it got really cold inside. You had to dodge a few waterfalls and not fall off the sides into little ditches of water. It was really neat. The echo was amazing, made Andrew and I sound like fabulous singers.

Fianlly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Took for ever to be able to see the other side.
